Adam Vincent started his comedy career in Adelaide back in 1996. After competing in the national final of Triple J's Raw Comedy he decided to move to Melbourne.

With his goal of becoming a more versatile performer in mind Adam started experimenting with his craft.

In 2000 he wrote the play 'Ronny Jr The Illegitimate Son' and performed it in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. That same year Adam was national runner up in the semi professional Green Faces comedy competition. This followed a six month stint as the resident emcee of the original King Of The Ring at Melbourne's old Comedy Palace. Playing the Son of Ronald MacDonald was a risky change but not as risky as Adam's next show, Two Comedians:$15, The Chance to throw Tomatoes: Pricele$$. Yes Adam encouraged the audience to throw Tomatoes! Looking for something new Adam joined a local Impro troupe that performed every Sunday night for 5 years.

A year long stint in the United Kingdom touring up and down England, Scotland and Wales allowed Adam to hone his craft in front of international audiences, helping him create his own unique brand of comedy.

In 2008 Adam produced his underground hit Humans Anonymous that won critical acclaim and was seen by Adam Hills as the best show in that years Melbourne International comedy festival (MICF).  Hills subsequently backed his younger counterpart by producing his 2009 solo show Adam Vincent in Adamland. Again, Adamland has won rave reviews from comedians and punters alike as one of the great shows of 2009's MICF.  It is becoming ever more apparent that Adam Vincent is the comedian to watch as his shows are consistently hilarious and evolving to a point where both show and performer are simply undeniable.
