Anne Ferguson-Howe

Anne is an established, Award Winning, MC/Headline Act who has been making audiences laugh for over 15 years. Known for her quick-fire crowd work, Anne is also known to have audiences weeping with her stories of looking for work and love. She loves nothing more than holding court and enthralling people with her somewhat visual descriptions of life and situations. Described by the Creative Issue as “The Funniest Woman in Brisbane”, Anne has entertained audiences all over Australia and the world, having wowed audiences with her comedic talent in the USA and the UK.

Back in 2009, Anne won the Grand Final of Green Faces, a prestigious comedy competition held in Canberra every year to find up and coming new comedians. To her delight she was and has been the only woman to have won the contest thus far.

Anne has shared a stage with many sporting greats including touring and being MC for the Birth of Origin show, staring the late Artie Beatson and Tommy Raudonikis, as well as Yvonne Cawley, Wally Lewis and Wayne Grady.

Anne has also hosted three seasons of her own talk show on Digital 44 “The Very Anne Show”, described as very down to earth non-sugar coated 25 minutes of “real telly”.
