Bruno Lucia is one of Australia's most popular comedians and television personalities who has well and truly earned his comedy stripes playing the live stand up comedy circuit around Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, where he is now based in Los Angeles.

 

He is a regular at the Laugh Factory, The Icehouse, The Improv, The Comedy Store and has also performed in New York and Las Vegas.

 

Bruno started his comedy career as a regular at the Sydney Comedy Store in 1986 with the popular character Dino Valentino. He moved to London in 1998 and was a regular at the London Comedy Store, and Jongleurs comedy circuit, touring Ireland and Scotland; as well as Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Bangkok, New Guinea and New Zealand.

 

Bruno has produced sell-out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Adelaide Fringe, and The Sydney Comedy Festival.

 

He has toured his solo shows around Australia and was also part of the successful Great Australian Comedy Show with Eric Bana, Russell Gilbert, Vince Sorrrenti, Elliot Goblet and the Scared Weird Little Guys.

As well as writing his own comedy, Bruno is also an accomplished musician and songwriter, having played on the professional rock circuit in his formative years in Australia, opening for the likes of, George Benson, Madness, The B52's, Joan Armatrading, Jose Feliciano, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel & Crowded House.

 

This multi-faced, multicultural, multimedia performer is best known for his work on Nine Network’s hit sitcom All Together Now, where he turned the lovable sleaze and agent to the stars, Wayne Lovett, into one of the shows most popular characters and made his phrase “Chicky Babe” a national catch cry. The show ran for five years, filmed over 100 episodes, and was sold Internationally.

 

As an actor, Bruno has featured in many productions such as the Australian/US mini-series, A Ring of Scorpio, Stingers, A Country Practice and the childrens TV series, Legacy Of The Silver Shadow. On the big screen he has appeared in the feature films, Sweet Talker alongside Bryan Brown & Karen Allen, Time Guardians with Tom Burlinson & Carrie Fisher and recently Loves Brother with Giovanni Ribisi & Adam Garcia.

 

On the Corporate Comedy scene Bruno has performed over 500 Corporate engagements. Whether it be as an MC or after dinner comedian, Bruno is an inoffensive, funny, reliable, laugh maker.
