The only Comedian slash Olympian in Brisbane that we know of, Nick’s on stage physical presence is a treat to bear witness to. His approach to stand-up is easily compared to the majestic beauty of a gazelle on ice performing a perfect triple tow axel - one of, if not the most difficult figure skating manoeuvres ever. Ever.
Physical comedy, embarrassingly true stories, and good spelling are just some of Nick’s best qualities. Having come 2nd in almost every competition he’s ever entered – Nick is gracious in defeat. Also, the people that won are poo-faces. Especially his good mate Geoffrey Windle, who is a great comedian – but still a poo-face.
A recent highlight for Nick was playing the part of Frank Woodley’s disgruntled assistant in his comedy festival show, Bewilderbeest. Nick has also had the privilege of performing with comedy favourites Adam Hills, Eddie Ifft, Josh Thomas, and Axis of Awesome.
This joke-telling ninja is slam-dunking his way to the big time and 3 pointer-ing crowds from across the bone yard. Get a slice of this comedy éclair before all the fat kids eat him up!
“His energy on stage is bright and indefatigable” – Thomas LaHood, Theatreview.
Indefatigable means tireless – I looked it up. It doesn’t mean pregnant as I first thought.
