A free night of comedy, laughs, and a healthy dose of sillyness, to raise funds to educate girls in Africa!

Come along for free night of comedy on Wednesday October 19 8pm at The Sit Down Comedy Club to support the Do It In A Dress campaign.

Do It In A Dress is a quirky fundraising campaign by Aussie charity, One Girl – who work to give girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda access to education. These are some of the worst places in the world to be born a girl – and over 60 million girls around the world are denied an education, simply because they were born a girl. But we can help change this.

Do It In A Dress encourages everyday people to do challenges in a school dress, to raise funds and awareness to educate girls!

Stand Up In A Dress is a comedy night where abnormal people will be raising money for this very worthwhile cause – in a dress! So grab some friends and head along for a great night of laughs, featuring comedians Steven J Whiteley, Kat Davidson, Andy Thompson, Pete Rosky and Al Gibson.

Entry is free, but we will be asking for donations on the night.

Stand Up In A Dress is now in it’s third year running, organised by long-standing Do It In A Dress champion, Suzy Jukes. Over the years Suzy’s done her fair share of crazy challenges in a dress, from skydiving, to wearing her dress everyday for a month – over the years raising over $15,000 for the cause.
