Kelly Ledger

Kelly Ledger is a Brisbane-based comedian, writer and performer who is a fixture on the open mic comedy circuit.

Her path to comedy has been anything but conventional. Before picking up a microphone, Kelly worked across travel, aviation, sport, fashion and sales, collecting the people, stories and spectacularly questionable life decisions that would eventually become the material for her work.

In 2026, Kelly wrote BREAKTHROUGH, a memoir about breakdowns, reinvention and finally choosing herself. Somewhere in the process of writing it, she realised some of those stories didn’t just belong on the page. They belonged on a stage.

That became NEUROSPARKLY, Kelly’s one-woman musical comedy in development — an autobiographical mix of stand-up, storytelling and original songs about motherhood, midlife and what happens when the life you carefully constructed stops fitting.

Her comedy is candid, self-deprecating and grounded in the absurdity of real life — largely because Kelly has spent most of hers giving life a red-hot crack and occasionally getting it spectacularly wrong.

She lives in Brisbane with her family, an alarming number of unfinished ideas and considerably more sequins than any reasonable person requires.
