Adam Vincent started his comedy career in Adelaide and was a finalist in the Triple J Raw Comedy competition in 1997. In 2000 he wrote the play Ronny Jr: The Illegitimate Son and performed it in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. That same year, Adam was national runner up in the Green Faces semi-professional comedy competition.
In 2008 Adam produced his critically acclaimed underground hit, Humans Anonymous. With the backing of big names such as Adam Hills, Adam has gone on to write and perform a number of other applauded shows around the world, including Adamland (2009); Vital Signs (2010); and Dad Feet (2011).
Adam’s latest show, Careless (2015), was acclaimed at both the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and has since morphed into his latest show, Judgemental, which is set to play at Edinburgh in 2017.
Aside from his live performances, Adam is also a core writer on Channel 4’s The Last Leg; and was a key player in its BAFTA winning coverage of the 2012 Paralympics. The Last Leg was also nominated for Best Comedy Entertainment Program at the British Comedy Awards and is set to keep going strong into 2017. His other writing credits include Channel 4’s Stand Up to Cancer, 15 to 1 and Live at The Apollo.
