Oliver Twist had spent much of his life in a refugee camp, before making the journey from Rwanda to Brisbane in 2014. In his short time here, he has emerged as a distinctive and vibrant young comedian, making waves across the Australian comedy scene
Drawing inspiration from his personal journey, Oliver has woven his experiences into a rich tapestry of humour, crafting a dynamic comedy career with roots in the RAW Comedy National Finals in 2017.
Oliver has shared the stage with comedy heavyweights like Wil Anderson and Becky Lucas in the stand-up comedy world, but his prowess also extends to the world of writing. His work titled FEAR was staged in 2020 by Griffin, while Jali, a story he wrote based from his own experiences, demonstrates his ability to captivate audiences with his exceptional storytelling and razor-sharp wit.
