Dave Jory

Dave Jory regularly performed at festivals around Australia such as The Cracker Comedy Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

In 2007, he was a finalist in Rove Live’s ‘Golden Nut Competition’, as well as being chosen as an Australian finalist for the popular NBC America program, Last Comic Standing, which was broadcast to a large audience worldwide.

Dave appeared on television shows such as The NRL Footy Show, Stand Up Australia, Joker Poker and The Mansion.
Jory became a cult favourite on Triple J with a fake celebrity gossip segment and the very popular drive-time segment ‘I Love This Crowd’ where he performed listener’s jokes in a stand up club, then played the recordings on-air for discussion.

He also authored the book, I Know Everything and has also been a contributing writer for various magazines and TV shows, such as The Glasshouse and Stand Up Australia, as well as Dave supporting international comedians, Weird Al Yankovic and Arj Barker, as well as been the featured comedian aboard P&O Cruise ships.
