Glynn Nicholas is a powerhouse of comedy and theatre. Glynn Nicholas is a Producer, Director, Actor, Comedian, Writer and mentor. He has created and produced several one-man stage productions, musicals; plays, vaudeville shows, burlesque shows, a television series, variety shows, and a number of special events.

Glynn is in demand as a freelance producer/director and is widely respected as an innovative Comedy Musical Theatre Producer. He loves working with actors, comedians and keynote speakers, helping them with content, stagecraft,  presentational skills and how to keep an audience absolutely riveted.

His stage productions have received outstanding acclaim in Australia and overseas, in particular his shows Certified Male, co-written with Scott Rankin which has played in several countries, and Song Contest – the almost Eurovision Experience.

Glynn was born in Bristol, England. His Father was a mechanical engineer and his Mother a hairdresser.

When Glynn was ten, his parents moved to Cardiff in South Wales, but he tracked them down and lived in the family home with his 3 siblings until, aged 19, he applied for assisted passage to emigrate to Australia. He arrived in May 1973 and showed no inclination for the arts or performance, preferring work in sales, manual labour and as a bus conductor.

In late 1976, on a fruit-picking working holiday in Crete he learned to play guitar and soon set off to Germany where he started busking, quickly developing his quirky mix of music, comedy and mime.

Glynn demonstrated a natural ability to entertain large crowds of up to a thousand people and over a period of ten years won many awards in Australia, Europe and the USA.
