Jack Dee
A British stand-up comedian known for his deadpan style, Dee has become a well-known face of the industry through his years on the stage and on screens.
Starting out in the world of stand-up in the 1980’s, Jack’s career grew from open mic’s in London to winning the British Comedy Award for Best Stage Newcomer in 1991.
From his first turn capturing the nation through his appearances in a series of high-profile comedic advertisements for brewers John Smiths Bitter (which introduced the widget, the little ball in your Guinness cans), he went to to further broadcast success, airing his own TV series, The Jack Dee Show in 1992, as well as hosting and featuring on Top of the Tops, Comic Relief, Celebrity Big Brother (where he was a show-hater, multiple escapee and eventual winner) Live at the Apollo, Big Fat Quiz of the Year, QI and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala.
