Jacob Lingard
Jacob Lingard is a Brisbane-based stand-up comedian and performer.
Confident, conversational and truly natural, Jacob is an inimitable presence on stage. Setting himself apart from simple joke-telling by drawing on personal experiences, a dark, oddly whimsical sense of humour and the audience itself to create an experience that feels completely unique.
In 2012, he was a state finalist in the Green Faces Comedy Competition; in 2013 he was part of a sell-out Melbourne Comedy Festival Show and in 2015 was hand-picked by the festival as one of five comedians to be part of the prestigious Comedy Zone.
He currently produces, writes and hosts a variety of underground and alternative comedy shows throughout Queensland.
