Mandy Knight
Award winner Mandy Knight has headlined all over the world including Dubai, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, South Africa and Rickmansworth.
She has appeared on television Stand-up shows including; Live at Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and The World Stands Up for the Paramount Comedy Channel.
She was the very first female comic to MC the Jongleurs comedy chain. And the only woman for 15 years to host at The Comedy Store in London and Manchester.
Watching Knight is like being punched by an iron fist in a velvet glove. She will leave you insulted but breathless from laughter. She is not for the feint hearted or hard of thinking.
As a television actress, Mandy appeared as a main character in Jo Brand’s Like it or Lump it. She has also appeared with David Baddiel in The Baddiel Syndrome and on The Little Big Woman Radio Show.
Her other television credits include presenting various shows including Live Time (a sort of Richard and Judy style show – where she held fascinating interviews with people about things like National Cheese Week) and writing for television for ITV’s Des and Mel Show.
Winner of The Spirit of the Fringe Award 2107 for her latest One Woman Show “The Dark Knight.” Which is currently being extended into a full length play for a UK National tour autumn 2019.
She has used her talents as both a stand up and fine character actress to perform three other One-Woman shows in Edinburgh, London and Sydney:
“I Might Be Single – but The Voices Keep Me Company” , “Some of My Best Friends are Ginger” and “I’m In Love with the Singer from Pulp”.
“Inspired comedy” Time Out
“A virtuoso comedienne” The Independent
“A stream of priceless gems” The Guardian
