Nikki Lynn Katt

Nikki Lynn Katt is a regular at the Hollywood Improv including Sam’s The Naughty Show and all the top comedy clubs in Los Angeles. After Michael McKeon (Spinal Tap, Best In Show) opened for HER, she quickly became a favourite guest at National Lampoon Comedy Radio. Her song, This Halloween was on high rotation on MTV’s Total Request Live, Fuse, and received over half a million hits on Myspace TV as well as tens of thousands of Youtube hits, giving her international fame.
Nikki Katt is honest. Blatantly, brutally, brilliantly honest.

Whether it’s in her music, or her conversations, Nikki hits you in all your “special” places.

Originally from San Gabriel, CA, Nikki studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Naturally, her first love was music, and she started out writing sweet little songs with sweet little themes. Feeling a little repressed, Nikki decided to forgo the sugariness, and wrote about what came naturally. However, what were acidic diatribes to the artist, were drawing belly-laughs from the audience. She couldn’t understand why she was pouring her heart out, and people were cracking up. Finally, after being told over and over by friends that she was a comedian…she simply made it official, and became one.

“(The songs were) super dirty…in fact, they were mostly super dirty songs about sex. Sex and all the issues surrounding sex… relationship issues, and practical issues surrounding sex are what interest me… so it’s what I write about.” -Nikki Lynn Katt

Since that turning point, Nikki has graced Los Angeles stages with her witty songs, and “accidental” humor. After Michael McKeon (A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, For Your Consideration) opened for HER, she quickly became a favorite guest at National Lampoon Comedy Radio. After all, it’s a man’s dream to find a girl that says she’s inspired by both Adam Sandler and Tenacious D. Her songs such as “When I’m with you” and “The Fuck You Song” have been uplifting anthems for men and women all over the Southland.

Overall, Nikki Lynn Katt somehow manages to say the stuff that would make your high school shop teacher blush. She’s been compared to Sarah Silverman, Janeane Garofalo, and a whiter, prettier, Redd Foxx (not really Redd Foxx…I made that up.)

She’ll make you spit with laughter. She’ll make you choke with glee. She’ll make out with your girlfriend. And now she brings a completely unique perspective to the comedy stage.

She’s the girl you want to bring home to mom. Just don’t bring mom to the show.
