Rhi Down
After performing sold out shows in Melbourne, Rhi Down has returned to Brisbane.
She’s been performing on the comedy circuit since 2011 and in her early years was a finalist in the Queensland Raw Comedy Competition twice. She’s been all over Australia but loves nothing more than being in front of a home town crowd.
You may have heard Rhi on podcasts such as “Don’t You Know Who I Am?”, “Confessions of the Idiots”, “The Phone Hacks” or the one she co-hosts with Sam Petersen “Fan Friction”.
She’s taken her meds and she’s written some jokes, so catch her if you can!
“Down is a powerhouse of line-riding comedy. Part self-deprecating, part self-loving, all self-assured, her accomplished funnies make Down a veritable queen of paradoxical wit.” – The Music
“Startlingly quick on her feet, Down’s ability to play coy with the audience sends your mind hurtling in one direction before she spins you towards the other, resulting in some of the sharpest one-liners of the festival.” – Poison Drum Magazine
“Biting comedy for those who like a laugh with a punch” – Weekend Notes
“One of the funniest people I’ve seen in a long time” – Adam Ray, Comedian
