Scout Boxall

Scout Boxall is one of the most exciting new talents in Australian comedy. Their work swings between pithy observational stand up and chaotic powerpoint comedy with a sharp political awareness. Winner of Best Emerging Artist (Melbourne Fringe 2019), nominee for Best Newcomer (MICF 2021), and recipient of the Moosehead Award (MICF 2022), Scout has been absolutely smashing it on the scene with appearances at Up Late, the Upfront Gala, the Mardi Gras Gala and Splendour In The Grass.

Their unique blend of manic stand up, song, solo sketch and storytelling has been dubbed “genius” (The Music), “sheer perfection” (Scenestr), “outrageous” (The Herald Sun), “thrilling” (The Saturday Paper) and “a must-see” (The Age).

Within a couple of months of starting solo comedy just four years ago, Scout had made it to the National Finals of Raw Comedy, attended the gruelling Ecole Phillippe Gaulier (never again) and gigged at the Edinburgh Fringe.

You can find Scout performing regularly around the country, running monthly comedy room Hairbrush Comedy in Collingwood and watching the McLaren team fail to dominate the Formula 1 midfield. They’re available to write, host/MC, act on screen, appear on podcasts, exorcise any haunted house and perform a tracheotomy with a pen in an emergency.
