Jaimeson Gilders is a certified quirky girl with pink hair and a broken heart but she’s also one of Brisbane’s most promising rising comedians.
Starting her run at professionally making people laugh in 2019, she was a finalist in Good Chat Comedy Club’s inaugural Brat Pack competition and has since become a regular at the club. Going on to support the likes of Randy Feltface, Mel Buttle and Thomas Bleach, and performing at Laughing Heart Comedy in Cairns. Graving festival stages at Yonder and Junglelove, she’s quickly cemented herself as a vivid storyteller with memorable punchlines.
If you’re wondering what to expect from one of her gigs then all you need to know is that she’s so comfortable that she’s excused herself from the stage to shit more than once. She’s earnest, she’s goofy, and she needs you to like her. With only two years in the comedy scene, Jaimeson Gilders is a natural with a stage presence beyond her years. The daughter of a lighting technician and a comic, she had the perfect mix of genes to be handy and also very funny. She was born to do this.
Chris Martin is an accomplished stand-up comedian and improviser. At the age of five, he told his family a joke and no one laughed*… well 30 years later, he’s MUCH BETTER! His ability to find himself in an awkward situation is second to none, and has been the basis of his side-splitting storytelling comedy since day one. He’s also quick with a joke and worldly observation.
Chris’ relaxed stage presence and on-point delivery has seen him perform in the best comedy clubs in Australia, all while supporting some of the biggest names in the industry including Damien Power, Luke Heggie and Sam Campbell. His debut stand-up show Claw Machine (2018) explored all the important relationships from his life and was met with sell-out crowds and rave reviews. No matter your mood, Chris’ comedy will always leave you smiling and wanting more.

Jo is an Indian born Australian stand up comic who will disarm you with her quick wit and cheeky sense of humour. Self-described as Australia’s second best import (after cricket of course), Jo uses her humour to break barriers, shatter stereotypes and incite thought.
Being raised with strong south Indian traditions and her new Australian life have intertwined to create a unique comedic palate she likes to call ‘Great Barrier Beef’. A RAW Comedy State Finalist in 2019 and 2020, Jo believes one day her humour will inspire the world – scratch that – inspire her mother to come watch her perform.
Shannon Brooke is a comedian, cabaret performer, and actor based in Brisbane. She took to comedy quickly after growing up performing theatre and clowning; and launched her career in 2018 with a sold-out cabaret comedy show titled "Grandma". Shannon entered the stand-up comedy scene in 2020 as a result of encouragement from other comedians; and in her first year of stand up, made the Semi Finals of the Queensland leg of RAW Comedy and the Grand Final of Brat Pack Comedy. Shannon is renowned for her storytelling, passion, and absurdity and will have you in stitches (or more likely, confused).
MJ Wong is a lovable rogue - uproariously funny, sometimes downright strange, his observations and frustrations never fail to amuse. An energetic and seasoned performer, MJ serves his jokes up tight and punchy for maximum laughs, performing to sell-out shows during the 2018 Bris Funny Fest with his debut "In the Wong Family". Based in Brisbane, he regularly tours interstate, performing in the best comedy rooms across the country supporting the likes of Dave Hughes, Greg Fleet and Dilruk Jayasinha.

"Definitely a strong prediction for the next big name in stand-up comedy." - Brisbane Theatre
Despite having only been doing standup for a handful of years, Nick Carr is QLD's most energetic and daring performer. Nick is a two-time Raw Comedy State Finalist, has supported Troy Kinne, hosted a strip-club’s 3rd birthday and performed internationally at The Koh Samui International Podcast Festival; but not all at the same time - that would be weird. A frequent guest on ABC Radio, Nick and has appeared on a score of Australia's biggest comedy podcasts including The Little Dum Dum Club
and The Phonehacks
. He’s a familiar face in stand up scenes across the country, a big fan of spaghetti and brings a passion about comedy that he’s more than willing to share with the world.
