Franky Smart –
FRANKY SMART (aka Claire Walters) is a powerhouse entertainer who’s performed across Australia and beyond. From musicals and cabaret to festivals and corporate events, she lights up every stage she steps on.
She’s worked with Aussie legends like Bert Newton, Patti Newton, Kate Ceberano, Rhonda Burchmore, Megan Washington, and more. Check out her self-titled EP with her band, Franky Smart, produced by Joel Myles and Chrispy Lait at Head Atlas Studios. Don’t miss her DJ set packed with bangers and the tracks that define her style.

For 50 years, Ipswich Civic Centre has been at the heart of the Ipswich performing arts community, hosting countless events, fostering connections, and creating memories. Fittingly, as part of 2025 Spark Ipswich festival from 11-19 of July, Ipswich Civic Centre will take centre stage, celebrating this significant milestone by filling the venue with live music and art.

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are new to the community, this is a 50th celebration you won’t want to miss as it honours the rich history and bright future of a much beloved building.
