Boo Dwyer

Boo Dwyer is a cheeky interactive comedy star with a fancy for songs and games; an award winning, British musical comedian and actor now living in Adelaide, she is a leading legend in the Adelaide comedy scene.

At the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Boo Dwyer debuted her full length solo show, Dye Young/Stay Pretty. The show went on to become a commercial and critical hit which then toured across the UK and on to Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne; being brought back in 2011 for a requested performance at the esteemed Latitude Festival.

Her second show, Spoonface Steinberg, written by Billy Elliot author, Lee Hall &  directed by London Artistic Director, Adrian Berry followed suit.

Since then Boo has written and toured with her musical comedy creation, Titty Bar Ha Ha; a musical comedy of vintage high end filth, likened by critics to Absolutely Fabulous. It was with this that Boo was nominated twice at Perth Fringe World, enjoying a completely sold out run which moved from the UK to Perth, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and touched down at NZ International Comedy Festival. Titty Bar Ha Ha was the support act for two seasons of Vegas show, Puppetry of the Penis.

“We love having Boo host our functions and events. She has an amazing energy and is able to capture the attention of a crowd instantly! She brings laughs and professionalism to every event” – Heather Croall, CEO Adelaide Fringe.
