Granted furlough from the gulag, Daft Rocket is crossing the ditch in 2027 and returning to The Lucky Country with riffs in tow.
After a sold out scorcher across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne in 2025, The Boy Who Riffed is bringing his frenetic, spellbound optimism to the information chamber of this haunted planet we call home.
This month-long trek will span 17 shows across 11 cities throughout Australia and New Zealand – creating a rift in the space time continuum that may take decades to amend. Mostly improvised, rarely sanctified, and remarkably canonized, this mercurial hour of standup comedy is sure to bring families together around a yule log of proficient proletariat rhetoric that neither holds firm a universal truth or chooses to establish a solid foundation as to the nature of words in general.
Ultimately: it’s riffing, it’s good for us, and we’re just as happy with a good book – we shudder to consider it any other way.
