A POKEMON CABARET
Every song is about Charizard (the Pokémon), interspersed with stories that take you on a journey of love, betrayal, hardship and humour. The show mixes comedy, acoustic guitar, booster packs, magic and other spectacles alongside positive and uplifting crowd interactions (unless they are Squirtle fans).
You will hear nostalgic cult classics including A Song About Charizard, I Choose You Charizard and Why Did You Have To Leave Me Charizard, along with a song written entirely in Indonesian: Lagu Lagu Charizard Harus Dangdut La.
PLUS everyone who attends receives a free Pokémon card.
Pokémon knowledge is not required but is encouraged.
People who arrive curious usually leave as Charizard fans.
This is a ALL AGES event in a licensed venue. Under QLD Liquor Licensing, all minors on licensed premises must be accompanied by a ‘responsible adult’ who is responsibly and actively supervising the minor/s at all times.
Under QLD legislation, a ‘responsible adult’ is a parent; or a step-parent or guardian; or an adult who has ‘parental rights, duties and responsibilities’ in relation to the minor. A responsible adult is the person who makes adult decisions on behalf of the minor – e.g., an 18-year-old adult with a 17-year-old spouse, partner or sibling, would NOT be making parental decisions on the minor’s behalf; whereas a 20-year-old adult with a 10-year-old brother or sister MAY be a responsible adult.
If you arrive at the event and your booking group does not meet the above legal requirements, you will be refused entry and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.Under the ‘actively supervising the minor’ legal requirement, all minors must be seated with their ‘responsible adult’ for the duration of the show. i.e., All Adult, Child, Concession & Group ticketholders within the same group will automatically be seated together, however if a minor purchases a HOLOGRAPHIC CLASS ticket, they must be accompanied for the duration of the show by at least one responsible adult who also holds a HOLOGRAPHIC CLASS ticket.
