Kelly Ledger had a breakdown. So naturally, she wrote a book and turned it into a musical comedy.

NEUROSPARKLY: A Work in Progress is a one-woman musical comedy about midlife, motherhood and what happens when the life you thought you were supposed to want suddenly doesn’t fit anymore.

Part stand-up, part storytelling and part original musical comedy, this special preview performance gives Brisbane audiences the first look at NEUROSPARKLY before Kelly takes it onto the festival circuit in 2027.

There’ll be stories you’re probably not supposed to laugh at, original songs, questionable life decisions, sequins, emotional baggage and possibly a safety demonstration.

Because sometimes a breakdown is actually a breakthrough.

And sometimes you’ve just got to give life a red-hot crack.
